This friendly-looking flogger is surprisingly lightweight and incredibly versatile. It feels great in hand and throws with ease. The flat braid lanyard, stitched handle and tresses are made of a darker, plum purple cowhide. The abundant 54 tresses are 18 inches long and 3/4 inch wide and straight tipped. The finish on the tresses is smooth and sleek on the top grain side and tactile suede on the under side; the effect of the lighter suede showing through the flying darker purple creates an image of flashing light. The business end of this flogger holds a secret surprise: slightly firmer than other cowhides, the tresses have a bit of an edge to them, resulting in a touch of sting to go with the thud of so many wonderful falls. The 9 by 3.5 inch handle is embraced on either end by lovely black double-pass knots. | L'Varado's most widely copied design, his Rose Flogger combines leathers, textures and colors for a multisensual tool that's as interesting to look at as it is to use or receive. Product Information
Inside Floggers
Flogger tresses are the strands which attach to handles which are then covered by wrapping or braiding. L'Varado's signature series floggers feature special balancing and weighting. Knots do two things
finishing and bumps they create serve to infold the hand in a natural gripping spot for the flogger. It's the balance that makes swinging even the heaviest flogger more accurate and less fatiguing. Each design has been refined and streamlined through use and practice until only the finest flogger features remain.
